The RSCM Chamber Choir is a new choir for singers aged over 23, primarily for those who are former members of the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir.

The choir meets to sing weekend residencies at cathedrals around the UK two or three times a year. The choir is conducted by David Ogden and accompanied by professional organists.

It was formed to provide opportunities for former members of the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir to meet and sing together to a high standard, and retain their links with the Royal School of Church Music.

In order to ensure that participation is open to as many singers as possible, the choir's events will be run on a non-residential basis so individuals can book their own accommodation according to their preferred budget. A participation fee, kept as low as possible, covers fees for the professional conductor and organist leading the weekends and the cost of music hire.

The choir's inaugural event was a weekend's residency at Salisbury Cathedral on 2nd and 3rd of June, singing Evensong on Saturday, and Eucharist and Evensong on Trinity Sunday.

In 2014, the choir will sing the weekend's services at Winchester Cathedral on the 15th and 16th February.
